T-Mobile statistics of Dutch iPhone users
By dutchclick | August 26th, 2008 | Category: Dutch Info Network, Tech Interest |As the Chosen Operator T-Mobile Netherlands knows things about their Dutch clients and their iPhone 3G:
- more men than women do buy an iPhone 3G (is it really?)
- the average use of data is 10MB a day
- the black iPhone 3G 16GB is the most popular model
- the largest group of users (49%) is between 25 and 39 years old, followed by a group between 18 and 24 that is 26%
- the cheapest price plan with 150 calling minutes and 150 text messages (sms) is most popular
- of all price plans 10% is for professional use. The most expensive price plan of 500 minutes and 500 text messages is most popular.
What does this say? We can see that the users are relatively young, but as we say in The Netherlands older younger. The real young people can’t affort it and if they are no gadget freaks they are not interested, I think. Just like I already used mobile Internet on my Nokia E61i, the way the iPhone does data makes it even more fun to use it. So 10MB a day is not strange, even for me.
