MS versus Yahoo: What happens next?
By servaas | May 5th, 2008 | Category: Dutch Info Network |I don’t have to go into specifics as we all know that Microsoft has cancelled it’s bid on Yahoo. What we don’t know is why.
Nobody has the inside intel from either MS or Yahoo, but what we do know is this. Yahoo’s stock will take a beating when the markets open, resulting in a much better price. Maybe that’s what Microsoft is doing?
Some say the current situation will make Steve Ballmer loose his job, and I can only hope for that. Not only is the man clearly an idiot for his strange behavior in public, he always keeps on saying that other companies can’t do this, can’t do that as if he believes it himself. And there are enough stories about the man shouting at his employees, so that’s another good reason to get rid of this tyrant.
So what’s going to happen to Yahoo? I don’t know. But I am afraid it gets lost to MS after all. Google, why don’t you grab it when the price drops?

[...] Where Yahoo (the company) doesn’t want to have anything to do with Microsoft (who blames ‘em), the shareholders come in. Why? For the money obviously. I kinda suspected this was going to happen. [...]
