Palm Centro sales hit 1m

If you forget about Palm’s more recent history of failure and disaster, the Centro is a good looking small sized smartphone. Yes it is running Palm OS. Yes the software is terribly outdated. Yes the camera is of a terrible resolution. All that acknowledged, today we know Palm has sold 1 million of these phones. How?

As we have established that it is now because of it’s fantastic features, what else can it be but the great deal At&T offers? A Centro @ $99. That’s simply put a great sales pitch. Well done, Palm. Err, At&T.
