Berry 9000 not iPhone killer
By servaas | April 29th, 2008 | Category: Dutch Info Network |We believed that the upcoming blackberry 9000 would be marketed as “iphone killer”, but according to this article, a new blackberry is coming up, featuring a big pda style touchscreen and the superior blackberry software we know.
(thanks RIMarkable)Very exciting, although, as I have said before, I really want a *real* keyboard. Though the latest news from apple claims that the upcoming iphone (june ‘08) will sport force feedback acting as touchscreen feedback, so at least you’ll know if you’ve hit a “key” or not. That technology could make a touchscreen an acceptable input device.
The new iPhone will be cool, featuring 3g and GPS, but I am still in the berry-camp, getting ready to buy a curve in june….
