The first Deep Colour source
By mathieu | February 2nd, 2008 | Category: Industry News |In continuation of the previously article about ” deep color “, I found a newsflash on Home Cinema Choice where is announced that JVC is finally about to launch a product which is able to make use of the Deep Colour talents possible on most TVs equipped with V1.3 HDMI sockets.
We are talking about a camcorder - or two camcorders to be precise: JVC’s new HD5 and HD6 Everio models. These camcorders both boast full HD native resolutions with 1080p output via an all-important HDMI 1.3 jack, and provide plenty of space on their built in hard disk drives for storing the data-intensive Deep Colour format: 60GB on the HD5 and 120GB on the HD6.
